SCHOOL VIOLATIONS AND SANCTIONS
The Creation of CIF rules and regulations, developed and approved by member schools, which all schools pledge to observe, began in 1914. This decision established an enforcement program designed to be a cooperative undertaking involving schools, leagues, sections, and the State CIF working together for an improved administration of education-based interscholastic athletics. The violations and sanctions listed below are for the current academic year.
