Each year, CIF Sac-Joaquin Section schools host the Peter J. Saco Foundation Games in the sports of volleyball and basketball to fund the A. Dale Lacky and Clarke Coover Memorial Scholarships. For these contests, the officials donate their time and half of all ticket proceeds go to the scholarship fund. These foundation games allow the CIF-SJS to honor, recognize, and financially assist student-athletes who epitomize the core values of educationally based athletics.
